Written Submissions and Oral Session Evidence

The Independent Review has received written evidence from a wide variety of individuals and organisations. Where consent has been given these are published here. The Independent Review team has also held in camera evidence sessions to hear from a variety of witnesses drawn from those who have submitted written evidence.

Persecution of Christians in Oral And Written Evidence

The Review has been commissioned by the FCO and is being conducted by a team of independent experts led by the Bishop of Truro. For the purposes of data protection legislation, the FCO is the controller of the data collected. In order to encourage as broad engagement in the review as possible, the Bishop will ensure that any personal data provided in confidence to him and his team during the evidence gathering and report writing stages is either anonymised before it is passed to the FCO or securely destroyed upon completion of the Independent Review.
